One of the biggest highlights of the event was the exclusive first announcement of our latest product—TestPod.
TestPod is a cutting-edge test management platform designed to help software testing teams organize, track, and manage test cases seamlessly. It enables teams to centralize both manual and automated testing efforts, boosting efficiency and accelerating product delivery. Unveiling TestPod at the ANST conference was a strategic move, allowing software testers to experience firsthand how it can streamline their workflows and enhance testing efficiency.
The Bugathon: Putting TestPod to the Test
Scandium also hosted an electrifying Bugathon Competition, where 11 teams competed to uncover the most credible bugs within TestPod—using TestPod itself! The competition was intense, with a ₦250,000 cash prize for the winning team, along with additional gifts for the runner-ups.
Participants engaged in a time-boxed, focused testing session, where teams tested specific modules of TestPod, logged defects, and worked collaboratively to identify critical issues. The team that found the highest number of credible bugs emerged victorious. More than just a competition, the Bugathon was a testament to Scandium’s dedication to quality improvement, as all the identified bugs will be addressed by our team to make TestPod even better.
