At Scandium Systems Inc., software quality isn’t just a goal; it’s the backbone of everything we build. On December 6th, 2025, this commitment guided our participation as a proud sponsor at the 8th Annual ANST Software Testing Conference, hosted by the Association of Nigerian Software Testers (ANST).

The conference brought together QA professionals, software testers, quality engineers, founders, and product leaders from across the country, all united by a shared mission: advancing Nigeria’s software testing standards and strengthening the culture of quality in technology.

Empowering Testers, Engineers & Product Teams — One Conversation at a Time

The conference brought together a vibrant mix of young testers, mid-level professionals, senior engineers, leaders, and founders. Throughout the day, our team engaged with attendees who were curious, ambitious, and excited about the future of quality engineering.

Despite experiencing a brief service downtime during the event, we held meaningful conversations about:

  • Scandium’s no-code test automation
  • TestPod’s AI-powered test management
  • And our new tool, Rova AI, the autonomous exploratory testing agent, is transforming how teams discover risks

Dozens of attendees joined the Rova AI waitlist, a strong signal that the QA community is ready for tools that blend simplicity with deep intelligence.

Showcase Session: Scandium’s CEO on the Future of Smart, Accessible QA

During one of the conference’s highlight moments, our CEO, Abdul Azeez Ogunjobi, delivered a special session introducing Scandium’s unified suite of AI-powered quality solutions.

He walked attendees through:

  • Scandium’s no-code test automation for web, mobile & API
  • TestPod, our AI-powered platform for test management
  • And our breakthrough tool: Rova AI, an autonomous exploratory testing agent designed to uncover risks that scripted tests often miss

His session reinforced a simple message: quality should be accessible to every team, not just those with deep engineering bandwidth.

The audience response showed just how ready the community is for solutions that simplify testing while increasing reliability.

A Proud Moment: Scandium Wins the Indigenous QA Innovation Award

We were deeply honoured as Scandium received the Indigenous QA Innovation Award, presented by Demola Adesina, President of ANST. The award was accepted by our CEO, celebrating Scandium’s role in driving homegrown innovation and raising the bar for software quality in Nigeria, built for the world, and trusted by teams globally.

This recognition reinforces Scandium’s mission to lead the future of quality engineering, not just locally, but internationally.

It reflects the hard work of our team, the trust of our users, and our ongoing commitment to empowering Africa’s QA ecosystem with world-class tooling.

Building Community: Beyond Tools, We Build Connections

Even with the technical limitations at the event, the energy around our booth remained high. We had meaningful engagements, answered dozens of questions about no-code automation and AI-driven testing, and gave attendees Scandium souvenirs as a token of appreciation.

Most importantly, we welcomed many new professionals into our community, including those who signed up for Rova AI’s early access waitlist and those eager to explore Scandium and TestPod in the coming weeks.

The Journey Ahead: Quality Without Borders

Scandium’s participation at the ANST Conference reaffirms our commitment to advancing quality engineering in Africa and across the globe.

We’re proud to support initiatives that grow the testing profession, develop talent, and strengthen the global QA ecosystem.

From Lagos to London, Nairobi to New York, Scandium is building tools for teams that want to ship faster, test smarter, and deliver software that users can trust.

Thank you to ANST, the attendees, and everyone who engaged with us at the event.
We look forward to partnering, supporting, and building with you, because the future of quality is global, intelligent, and beautifully collaborative.
